Working with OpsCom.

This is a plain-language summary. Binding contract terms are issued per agreement and are available on request.

What the evaluation is

One workflow, selected by the agency, for thirty days. A baseline is measured before any use. The agency receives the baseline, the measured results, the issue log, and the workflow map at the end, whether or not it continues.

The evaluation runs at no charge under a memorandum of understanding that sets out the conversion criteria in advance. Those criteria are agreed with the agency before work begins. The MOU does not obligate the agency to purchase. If the criteria are met, the agency takes the result into its own procurement process. If they are not met, the agency owes nothing and retains the findings.

Where an agency prefers not to set criteria in advance, the evaluation is available as a paid engagement, quoted to scope.

Systems of record

OpsCom does not replace CAD, RMS, JMS, digital evidence, jail, property, fleet, or court systems. Those remain the agency's systems of record throughout. OpsCom operates approved systems under authorization the agency controls, and does not dispatch units, approve reports, change charges, alter inmate status, or make evidentiary judgments.

Human approval

Every consequential action requires approval by agency personnel. This gate is not configurable.

Data ownership

Agency data belongs to the agency. OpsCom does not own it, sell it, or share it with third parties. The agency can export its data and its full audit log at any time, in a standard format, during the agreement and on termination.

Security

OpsCom runs in AWS GovCloud (US) and is built to the CJIS Security Policy. OpsCom does not store agency credentials. Full documentation is available to technical reviewers on request.

Access and permissions

Users, permissions, and approval points are defined by the agency and can be changed or revoked by the agency at any time.

If the agreement ends

The agency retains its data and its audit log. Export is available in a standard format. Nothing in the agency's own systems is altered by termination, because those systems were never replaced.

What we do not claim

OpsCom makes no representation about an agency's eligibility for any funding program. Performance figures are measured at the agency, from the agency's own baseline. We publish no figure we did not measure.
